The People’s Choice Award, proudly sponsored by Taupō & Tūrangi News, recognises the incredible businesses – big or small – that go above and beyond for their customers, staff, and community. And the best part? It’s decided by you, the public.

The business must be registered and operating within the Taupō District.
We’re looking for the everyday legends – the sole traders, your accountant, your favourite tradie, takeaways or shop owner. Any business that makes a difference in your daily life deserves to be recognised.
What happens next?

The Top 15 most nominated businesses will be revealed at the Finalist Function on Tuesday 8 July.

From there, the general public will have the chance to vote for their favourite finalist (one vote per person).

The winner will be crowned at the Unison Great Lake Taupō Business Awards Gala Night on Friday 8 August.
